New Corner Store The Pan Tree Opens in West Ward

New corner store at 7th and Northampton streets features raw milk and other high end dairy products.

Hoping for better traffic at Noto's corner store, owner Dan Roman has moved a few blocks east.

His new store/deli—called The Pan Tree—held a soft opening last week at Seventh and Northampton streets, with a grand opening planned for Saturday.

On the shelves you'll find a lot of items you'd see in most Easton corner stores: canned goods, Tastykakes, cereal, cleaning products.

But there's also things like smoked garlic chipotle cheddar cheese and raw milk, and other dairy products from Klein Farms in Forks Township, as well as Boar's Head meats.

"I'm trying to become more of a deli," Roman said, "trying to have use as much natural and local products as I can."

The Pan Tree is open seven days a week, with hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
