Easton Taverns Helping Bethlehem's Mounted Police

Seven Easton businesses are helping raise money for Bethlehem's popular mounted patrol unit.

Seven Easton businesses are participating in a fundraiser to benefit Bethlehem's popular mounted patrol unit.

Thirty businesses in Bethlehem, Easton and Allentown are selling $1 paper horseshoes in conjunction with an upcoming appearance of the Budweiser Clydesdales in the Lehigh Valley.

Allentown Beverage, which is sponsoring the Budweiser Clydesdales' visit, launched the paper horseshoe fundraising project.

All proceeds will be used for a security system for the stable which houses the mounted patrol unit's three horses: Raven, Pharaoh and George.
