Crayola Prepares to Close for Repairs

This is your last weekend to visit the Crayola Experience before renovations begin.

Want to visit the Crayola Experience?

This weekend will be your last chance to see Easton's biggest tourist attraction before it closes down for an extensive renovation.

Starting next Tuesday, Crayola will begin a 60,000-square-foot expansion that will cause the facility to shut down until Memorial Day weekend.

Visitors this weekend can purchase tickets that will allow them to get back into Crayola for half-price once it reopens.

Last year, Crayola won approval from the city to add large outdoor decorations -- a mural and crayon sculptures -- to its property in Centre Square and along Pine Street.

That followed moves by the company to add new attractions to its kid-friendly center and sign a new lease with the city allowing it to move into the former McDonald's space on Northampton Street.
