Life Sentence In Wilson Grandmother's Death

Rebecca Johnson will spend the rest of her life in prison for orchestrating a burglary that lead to her grandmother's death, a Northampton County judge ruled Thursday.

"I have never seen someone so cold," Judge Paula Roscioli told Johnson when handing down the sentence.

Johnson and her co-defendant Rogel Suero were convicted earlier this year in the death if Carrie Smith. Smith, 75, died of complications from a heart attack following a robbery at her home.

Suero, who carried out the robbery with another man, is due to be sentenced Thursday as well.
