Weekend Picks - June 10 to 12

Every week we pick the best of what's going on...

This is the weekend of the festival, it seems. So many to choose from, there's no excuse not to get out after all that heat, and celebrate some reasonable, seasonable weather. Play your cards right, go fest hopping and you won't have to cook all weekend either.

Saturday, June 11 & Sunday, June 12
The Garden Treasures of Easton - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
A self-guided tour of local area gardens, many of which are hidden, that provide unexpected areas of tranquility in an urban setting. Tickets with tour book, maps and directions, $20. Chansonnette Fringe Fest
- Music and arts festival concurrent with Lafayette College's "The Art of Urban Environments." Crafts, artists, beer/wine and food vendors, and more. Easton Farmers' Market
- This week, Strawberry Festival! 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homemade strawberry shortcake, fresh strawberry smoothies, strawberry lemonade, Market Chef demonstration featuring Chef Scott Kresge of Quartz Hill Herb Farm, Kids' Strawberry Play Patch featuring strawberry-themed crafts and games, Holly Jolly the Clown, Billy Bauer Band plays at 10 a.m. Free.
