Visit a 'Land of Chocolate' Saturday in Easton
The Chocolate Lovers' Soiree is back Saturday night for its eighth year.
Whenever the Easton Main Street Initiative holds its Chocolate Lovers Soiree, my brain flashes on The Simpsons episode where Homer imagines Germany as a literal "land of chocolate."
The Chocolate Lovers' Soiree is back Saturday night for its eighth year, and while I can't promise you a Simspons-level experience (chocolate rain, chocolate telephone poles, etc.) I can say there will be a lot of chocolate.
The event begins Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Bank Street Annex, but you can buy a $40 preview ticket online that lets you in an hour early.
There are more than a dozen vendors lined up, including Leaf , V’Lish, Flour Shop Bakery, Granny Schmidt’s Specialty Cakes, Pearly Baker’s Ale House | Debbie’s Kitchen, Bank Street Creamery, Sette Luna, Maxim’s 22, Spreading Joy, Sweet Girlz, Terra Cafe, Tombler’s Bakery, Two Rivers Brewing Co., Delightfully Irrational Desserts, as well as demos by Lafayette Dining Services.
There are still plenty of tickets available, and you should be able to get in at the door when the event begins.
You can also get tickets through the Easton Main Street Initiative website at www.eastonmainstreet.org/chocolate.
