Vince Gill Will Open Time Jumpers Show

Country music star will play solo material at State Theatre.

Country singer Vince Gill won't just part of the Time Jumpers line-up when the group plays the State Theatre next month. He'll also be the group's opening act.

Gill -- who performed in Easton in 2011 -- will play about 40 minutes of his own material Feb. 16 before the Time Jumpers -- a sort of country music supergroup -- take the stage.

The Time Jumpers came together in 1998, and established themselves as -- to quote the theater's news release -- "the show that stars go to see."
