Psychic Sylvia Browne, Set to Play State Theatre, Dies at 77

Theater says it will notify ticket holders about exchange or refund options for Sylvia Browne show.

Celebrity psychic Sylvia Browne, who had been set to appear at Easton's State Theatre early next year, died Wednesday in California.

Browne, 77, died at a San Jose hospital, according to a message on her website.

The theater will notify ticket holders about refund or exchange options for tickets for her Jan. 9 show.

Browne was a bestselling author, and made frequent appearances on shows like Unsolved Mysteries, Loveline and The Montel Williams Show.

It was on that last show that Browne, in 2004, told the mother of the missing Amanda Berry that she'd see her daughter "on the other side." Berry and two other women were rescued last year in the home of kidnapper Ariel Castro.
