Performance Series Special Event FREE (tickets required) Pianist Ignat Solzhenitsyn’s season-opening all-Beethoven recital on September 12, 2001, became a quiet affirmation of the power of music and the community spirit of cultural engagement, in the face of the previous day’s unimaginable horror. The Williams Center marks the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a return engagement by Ignat Solzhenitsyn, featuring Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze, Op. 6 and Kreisleriana (Fantasien), Op. 16.
