duoJalal Returning to Lafayette

Husband and wife musicians will play at Lafayette's Williams Center Feb. 4.

duoJalal, the husband and wife partners of violist Kathryn Lockwood and percussionist Yousif Sheronick, returns to Lafayette College early next month. 

Showtime is at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the school's Williams Center. The concert is based on the writings of the Persian poet Rumi.

"duoJalal uses a wide array of musical instruments and sounds to create a vibrant intercultural experience that crosses the globe and bends genres," the college said in a news release. "The Morning Call named duoJalal’s 2012 Easton performance one of the '10 Best Concerts' of the year." 

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or by calling the box office at (610) 330-5009 from noon to 2 p.m., and 4 to 5 p.m. on weekdays, plus one hour before the performance.
