Beauty and the Beast Coming Back to State Theatre

See "a tale as old as time" in Easton next June.

The Broadway smash Beauty and the Beast returns to Easton next year as the latest addition to the State Theatre's 2014 season.

Based on the Disney movie, the play is a Tony winning musical and one of Broadway's longest running shows.

The theater said the show is an "eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of over 35 million people worldwide. This classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers including “Be Our Guest” and the beloved title song."

Tickets are $50-$55, and go on sale Tuesday for theater members, and Dec. 10 for the rest of the public. Showtime is at 7 p.m. on June 3 and 4.
