Where to Park During the Thanksgiving Game

City sets parking restrictions for annual Easton/P'burg football game.

Thursday is the 106th Easton/Phillipsburg football game and that means a lot of traffic on College Hill.

With that in mind, the Easton police department has set parking restrictions in the neighborhood around Fisher Stadium and Lafayette College beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday until the game ends.

Only cars with parking passes and handicap placards will be allowed to park on the restricted streets during that time.

In addition, the city will close streets to traffic, placing barricades at Hamilton and High streets, Hamilton and Pierce streets, and Bushkill Drive.

Parking is restricted on the following streets:

  • No parking on Dietrich Road from Bushkill Drive to Pierce Street.
  • No parking on Pierce Street from Dietrich Road to Hamilton Street.
  • No parking on Hamilton Street from Pierce Street to High Street.

Police say drivers can park at the college's Markle parking deck only if they have a pass. Parking at Lafayette's Sullivan parking deck is first come, first serve.
