Weed & Seed Bringing Back 'Summer Nights' Program Saturday

Easton Weed & Seed will give families a chance to get some exercise, and learn about healthy cooking.

This Saturday, Easton Weed & Seed will bring back its Summer Nights program in the dead of winter.

Don't worry: no one is expecting you or your kids to go outside. Instead of the regular Centennial Park, this one-time event will happen across the street inside the Easton Area Community Center.

Parents and kids can get some exercise in the "Open Gym Bash" starting at 1 p.m., followed by a healthy food demonstration from the Kellyn Foundation at 3 p.m.

Weed & Seed will give out $10 vouchers to the Easton Farmers' Market's winter mart, and the West Ward Neighborhood Partnership will provide information on the Easton community gardening program
