Over 60 young bicycle and some scooter riders registered on Saturday for the Cheston Bicycle Derby at the Ada B. Cheston Elementary School on South Side Easton.
Activities at the three-hour derby included bicycle inspections, free helmet giveaway, bicycle safety rodeo, emergency vehicles, fingerprinting and child safety cards and refreshments.
The derby was sponsored by , Easton Fire Department, , Easton Police Department, and Coalition for Appropriate Transportation.
