Viewfinder: Honoring Veterans on South Side Easton

A ceremony was held Sunday held by the South Side Civic Association at Hay Cemetery.

The South Side Civic Association held on Sunday at the flagpole in Hay Cemetery at Lincoln and Packer Streets in Easton.

Local officials who gave remarks after a flag raising included Easton Mayor Sal Panto, Easton City Councilman Ken Brown and State Representative Bob Freeman.

A Honor Guard Firing Squad from Brown and Lynch American Legion Post 9, Palmer Township fired a rifle salute and Honor Guard bugler Frank Bolcer played taps.
