Photos: Easton Garlic Fest

Easton's annual celebration of garlic marks its 10th year.

"Eat Drink Stink" proclaimed the giant balloon array over Northampton Street Saturday.

It's the well-known slogan for Easton's Garlic Fest, but it might as well serve as a warning: if you're going to eat something while you're here, it's going to contain some garlic.

Of course, that's part of the charm of the festival, which marked a decade in existence this weekend. The thought of garlic breath -- or the threat of a rainstorm that never came -- wasn't enough to chase the huge crowds away.

The festival continues today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in and around Centre Square with chef demonstrations, live music, the "Dangerous Desserts" competition, and a beer and wine tasting.
