Music classes, an Arts festival, and basketball signups are just some of the things going on in this weeks Grab and Go Planner

Welcome to the Grab and Go Kids Planner.

We’ve assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children.

Each week, we’ll give you the info on the best family activities or events for the week.

You’re time-pressed enough, so we’re happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

Look for the kid’s planner each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips-just add them to the comment box.  Even if you disagree with our picks, let us know. We want to hear from you!

Where/When:  Dance Phillipsburg, 474 South Main Street Phillipsburg NJ. Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

Why Go:  You and your child will enjoy this interactive musical playtime. Classes are once a week for 10 weeks.

Price: $170.00 for first child and $95.00 for the second child. Registration fees will apply

 

2.        

Where/When:  Scott Park on Larry Holmes Drive, Saturday September 17, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday September 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Why Go: There will be over 40 juried fine artists and craft artisans displaying their work, live music, free children’s art projects and Crayola “test” area.

Price:  Admission to the event is free

 

3.        Child ID Event 

Where/When:  Easton Area Community Center Saturday September 17, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Why Go:  Event to be located in the Cops N Kids’ Reading room. Bring your child in and get a print out with your child’s picture and finger print. Receive 3 free books with registration. Hosted by the Easton Block Watch Association.

 

 

4.       Easton Area Community Center Basketball Signups

Where/When:  Easton Area Community Center, Saturday September 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Why Go:  E.A.C.C. Basketball is for boys and girls ages 5-16. Youths signing up for basketball must have a copy of birth certificate on file with CBL. All children must be accompanied by a parent to sign the Parent Conduct form.

Price: Sports only membership is $50.00. Clubhouse members pay an additional fee of $20.00 for winter sports

 

5.        Street Festival and Open House 

Where/When:  on Sunday September 18, from 11:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Why Go:  There will be live music, free food and beverages, games and activities for the children. Go and see what First Presbyterian Church is all about!
