1. “Drums on Fire” Community Drum Circle
Where/When: Riverview Arts Center, 68 South Main Street Phillipsburg NJ. Friday September 23, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Why Go: Everyone is invited from age 10 and up. Bring the whole family. If you have hand drum, or any percussion instrument (tambourine, shakers, claves, etc.) or just about anything that can make music when played: a coffee can or even a 5 gallon bucket, bring it! There will be a few instruments available to borrow if you have nothing. For more information contact phillipsburg.drumsonfire@gmail.com .

2. First Ever Chile Pepper Festival
Where/When: Easton Farmers Market, Centre Square, Saturday September 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Why Go: There will be cooking demonstrations, a hot sauce making class, a hot pepper eating contest, and for the kids there will be crafts and games. Sunny the Market mascot will make an appearance on a fire engine.
3. Kids Build and Grow Clinic
Where/When: Lowes, 4443 Birkland Place, Southmont Center. Saturday September 24 at 10:00 a.m.
Why Go: Kids get hands on experience and learn tool safety while building this week's project; a Fire Engine. Must pre-register online for class.
Price: Free
4. Museum Day
Where/When: Saturday September 24 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Why Go: In coordination with the Smithsonian Institution, free admission into the museum with the Museum Day Ticket downloaded from Smithsonian.com
