Cops 'N' Kids Celebrates Two Years in Easton

Reading room at Easton Area Community Center marks its second year.

Two years ago, the COPS 'n' Kids reading room opened at the Easton Area Community Center. The idea was to give neighborhood kids access to more books.

On Saturday, the reading room will celebrate its second birthday with a party at the center, which begins at 10:30 a.m. with a parade starting at Centennial Park and heading to the community center.

The celebration will include storytime, a tae kwon do demonstration, refreshments, and free books.
