Easton Main Street Cancels "Bark in the Park"

The dogs may be ready, but the park isn't.

The Easton Main Street Initiative has cancelled "Bark in the Park," the dog-centric festival that had been scheduled for May 14 at Riverside Park.

The park simply isn't ready due to frequent rains, construction and landscaping and grass seeing, the initiative said in an e-mail Thursday. The park isn't expected to be usable until June.
