Good morning everyone. Let's take a look at what's happening in Easton today.


1. John Zogby, founder of the Zogby Poll and the Zogby companies, will speak this evening at 7 at Lafayette College's Kirby Hall of Civil Rights, room 104. He'll talk about his book First Globals, which the college describes as "a detailed analysis of why Americans born between 1979 and 1994 are truly more globally aware and sensitive, how they want to make their workplace and planet a better place, and how we begin to understand them and position them better to play out their destiny."

2. Also at Lafayette today: rare book scholar Michael Suarez will speak at the school's Skillman library today at 4:30 p.m.

3. Easton City Council meets tonight at 6 p.m. at city hall.

4. Cheston Elementary holds its book fair today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school library.

5. Rivals hosts stand-up comic Jim Tews tonight at 8 p.m., along with comedians Dan Shelly, Tyler Rothrock, Brendan Eyre and Jason J. Brown.
