Relay For Life Team Sole Sisters is collecting used cell phones/PDAs and inkjet cartridges to raise money for The American Cancer Society. Cell phones/PDAs and inkjet cartridges only may be put in the collection box located at KNBT Bank in the Giant Shopping Center, 741 S. 25^th Street in Easton, now until November 30, 2012. Accessories such as chargers, blue tooths, etc. are not recyclable.

The American Cancer Society will receive a donation from the Phoneraiser organization on behalf of Relay For Life Team Sole Sisters for each item collected during the fundraiser. Phoneraiser is a company that specializes in recycling and refurbishing used technology.

Each donation helps protect the environment. If improperly disposed of, each cell phone/PDA can pollute up to 35,000 gallons of drinking water.  All equipment is recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished and reused, keeping it out of landfills. Donations may be tax deductible.
