The Lafayette Bar is directly adjacent to the Hotel Lafayette, on the corner of North 4th Street and Northampton Street. The bar is known to locals for its relaxed atmosphere and casual dining. Smoking is allowed inside the bar and the first Sunday of every month is Jazz Night, featuring live musicians from the region. There is no cover charge for the jazz events, which run from 9pm to midnight. Lafayette Bar is a cash-only establishment.
