Join us at the 1st Annual Lehigh Valley Polar Plunge - The official event of Winter brought to EASTON by Northampton County Special Olympics! Individuals from all walks of life have committed to raise $50 or more to Plunge their hearts out for thousands of Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes! So get a thrill from the chill and join us on January 19th! The Polar Bear Plunge (or Polar Plunge) is a fundraising event that challenges an individual or group to enter into a cold body of water in order to raise money for Special Olympics. Plunge participants set a fundraising goal and get pledges from family, friends and colleagues for their commitment to be “freezin for a reason.” Polar Plunge benefits more than 20,000 Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes – the state’s largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. By being a part of the Plunge challenge, you are allowing thousands upon thousands of children and adults with intellectual disabilities to experience a brighter tomorrow. So dare to Plunge!
