Joint Choral Concert in Bethlehem
Louis Vierne’s Solemn Mass will be performed on May 6, 2012, at 3 P.M. The joint choirs of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bethlehem, and Trinity Episcopal Church, Easton, will be featured together at Bethlehem’s Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 East Market Street.
The performance will also include works by Anton Bruckner and John Ireland along with an original composition, Colossians 1: 15-20, composed by Roger Latzgo.
Soloists Michael Bodnyk and Michele Giletto, will perform the soprano and tenor duet from Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Domine Deus” from the Mass in B minor with Aram Basmadjian on organ. Mary Ann Swiatek will be the clarinetist and Michael Bodnyk the tenor soloist for the Colossians 1: 15-20 composition with Aram Basmadjian, accompanist. Conductors will be Dale Grandfield and Ron Spier.
A reception will follow the choral concert. There is a suggested donation of $15 with children under 12 free.
