well it was suppose to keep people in their homes to keep the revenue from taxes flowing -- well Read Morenow that didn't work real well, and now the localities, municipalities, and townships are suffering for lack of taxable monies coming into the coffers so they ingeniously find other ways to make money -- should hhttp://washingtonexaminer.com/fun-fact-guess-where-the-current-irs-commissioner-used-to-work/article/2550030ave jailed the banksters and kept the people in their homes.

These Radar guns don't make Jersey any safer. They just make more money for the local, and stateRead MoreGov ernments. The towns get the fine, and the state gets the surcharge payments. Since I live in PA, the Jersey ticket is only a fine. It is still a pain in the butt to have to wait the time it takes them to write it.

$600,000? Just in case you thing this is a nice small nice gesture , the true cost of providing aRead Mores weetener retroactively to folks who have ALREADY committed to depart is about $600,000. That takes smarts to give away...who is accountable for that give away?

So true. It used to be my go to for local online news. Are the changes really based on laziness? Read MoreOr was a consensus reached through a survey of readers, perhaps?

Amen. If I remember correctly, Tom had no decision in his leaving. It was taken from him. I'mRead Morenot sure how Patch runs, but i am fairly certain it is like a franchise.

No. AOL made all the hiring and firing decisions until it sold controlling interest to Hale Global, Read Morean investment firm, in January. Two weeks later, Hale fired hundreds of staffers in a single morning, according to the NYT. Granted, Patch nationally was losing a bundle, but I don't see how abandoning the original concept of local news is going to turn that around. It would be great it Tom or someone with equal talents could find funding to launch his own local website.

Especially when landlords take advantage of unsuspecting tenants, and think that they are gettingRead Moreaw ay with stealing, monies for water that they themselves use, and billing tenants, but its called pursuing their rights, and taking them to court with proof, as to the landlords conniving sneaky underhanded ways! And lets not forget the landlords, that bring their garbage to a tenants from their place of business, I find that to be interesting~ Tara White
