Get Free Digital Magazines with Your EAPL Card

The next time you're waiting to get into an appointment you can read the current issue of a digital magazine on your mobile device instead of those outdated copies in the reception area.

Your Easton Area Public Library card now gives you free access to 32 magazines through our partnership with Recorded Books Digital and Zinio. Choose from Car and Driver, Consumer Reports, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Prevention, VegNews, Cosmopolitan, and 25 more. Download for viewing on your desktop/laptop, tablet, or phone. Great titles, great colors and images – Zinio’s digital magazines have the same look as the print copy.

The magazines are always available with unlimited access to our patrons - no holds, no check out or checkin, no limits. View online or offline with Zinio4 Reader enabled Apps developed specifically for PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire, and Blackberry Playbook

To get started with Zinio, you’ll need your library card number. Go to the Easton Area Public Library website at

www.eastonpl.org

. You’ll see a link to "emagazines (Zinio)" in the right hand column under Readers Corner.

You’ll be asked to set up two accounts: first with Recorded Books Digital and then with Zinio. The first will allow you to access – for free – the magazines that EAPL subscribes to. You may find it easier to use the same email address and password for both sign ins.

You’ll also find a User Guide. If you have a Kindle Fire or if you currently have a consumer Zinio account, you’ll find special instructions here. For more support, check the User Video, FAQ’s and Help tabs on the Library Collection page.

The 32 subscriptions are just the beginning. We’ll be adding more.

If you haven’t used your library in a while, give us a look. It’s more than books.

It's awesome that The Economist is on the list. Thank you!
