Photo illustrations of charming dogs all duded up in baseball uniforms are the draw of this simple story. 

A boy and his dog both love baseball and dream about it.  One night, the dog leaves the boy’s bedside and heads for the ballpark, where he plays in a ruff game (Get it?) between the Hounds and the Doggers.  Silliness abounds as one dog hits a droolball and another makes typical use of a fire hydrant.

This is just the thing to pick up at the Easton Area Public Library for young fans of all ages as we enter the heart of the baseball season.  There’s a short trailer featuring dogs and kids on SchoolTube.
