The Redbull Butter Cup brought several tons of snow -- and more than 1,000 people -- to downtown Easton Saturday.

Sponsored on a local level by Drinky's, with national sponsorship from Red Bull, Nike, Oakley, and other companies, registered competitors soared down a man-made ramp into three obstacles.

Riders competed for cash and prizes, and only tricks that included “buttering” were counted. Buttering is a maneuver that raises either the front or the back of the snowboard, while the other side slides across a solid surface. Results from the national competition will be posted here.
