Three Teens Mug Woman, Police Say
Easton police say woman knocked to the ground in West Ward by three attackers.
Easton police are looking for a trio of teenagers who beat and robbed a city woman in the West Ward late Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the 30-year-old woman was walking near 14th and Northampton streets around 5:45 p.m. when the teenagers—two girls and a boy—approached and began punching her.
Police say they knocked the woman to the ground, causing a head injury, and then took her phone.
The woman was treated by EMS and taken to the hospital, but did not appear to have suffered any serious injuries.
One girl was around 15, either white or Hispanic, with long black hair, and wearing a black shirt and white pants. The second girl was also around 15, also white or Hispanic, and wearing an orange shirt. Police had no description on the boy, other than that he was the same age as the girls.
Police note that the area where the mugging happened sees a lot of foot traffic and are hoping someone witnessed the attack.
Anyone with information can contact Det. Chris Miller 610-250-6656 or the police tip-line at 610-250-6635.
