Three People Charged in Easton Drug Raid
Easton police raid West Ward home, find heroin, arrest three people.
Easton police arrested three people Thursday morning following a drug raid in the West Ward.
According to a news release, the department's vice/narcotics and special response units served a search warrant on 1012 Ferry* St. just after 6 a.m.
Three people were arrested on drug charges. The target of the investigation was Kevin Sanford, the subject of numerous neighbor complaints
He was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police had an existing warrant on Sanford for felony drug delivery.
Also arrested were Michael Baron and Shohana Conover, who will both be charged via summons for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
This is the second drug raid in the city in the last eight days. It also comes two days after police were involved in a stand-off in the West Ward.
Police found $200 worth of heroin in the building. Officers encountered "an agressive dog," but were able to secure it safely.
