Sigal to Host Lectures on Colonial America

From Colonies to Constitution lecture series begins next week at Sigal Museum.

Starting next week, Easton's Sigal Museum will present a four-part lecture series chronicling America's birth.

"From Colonies to Constitution" begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Northampton Street museum, and continues at 10 a.m. until noon each Tuesday through October 2.

The lectures, by historian Richard Morrison, "focuses on the period following the French and Indian War (1763) when an American identity was forming, and considers the struggle following the War for Independence to form a united nation from thirteen very independent-minded states," the museum said in a news release.

If you register for the series before Sept. 10, you'll pay just $20. After September 10, admission is $10 per session or $30 for all four sessions. To register, call 610-253-1222.
