'Samurai Percussionists' Coming to Easton

Japanese taiko drumming troupe Kodo will perform next week at the Williams Center.

Kodo, an acclaimed Japanese drumming troupe, will visit Lafyatte College next week.

The group, which puts a modern spin on traditional Japanese drumming, will perform Wednesday, March 20 at 8 p.m. at the college's Williams Center.

"Often referred to as 'samurai percussionists,' Kodo transforms the concert experience into a thrill ride while striving to preserve traditional Japanese drumming and reinterpret it in new and exciting ways," the school said in a news release.
