Route 22 Roadwork Gets in Gear Sunday
PennDOT to resume $7.1 million rehab project on highway between Easton and Palmer.
PennDOT is scheduled to resume its rehabilitation of Route 22 in Easton, Wilson and Palmer Township this weekend.
The $7.1 million project should begin again Sunday evening, with lane restrictions Sunday nights through Thursday mornings between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Drivers should expect delays.
The state is patching, milling and repaving the road between the Fourth Street and 25th Street exits.
PennDOT spokesman Sean Brown said the project—which also includes new guiderails, signs and other safety upgrades—should wrap up in July.
