The Arts Community of Easton is accepting applications from artists and artisans for the 2012 Riverside Festival of the Arts.

Now in its 16th year, the festival -- scheduled for September 22 and 23 along Larry Holmes Drive -- is a multi-arts event which showcases works by dozens of artists from around the region.

The festival is centered around a juried art show/sale, which awards the winning artist and crafters $1600 in cash prizes.

In addition to artwork, the festival will also feature musical performances -- headlined by New Jersey's VOOdudes -- as well as a skateboarding demonstration and readings by local authors and poets.
