Remember: Bridge Tolls Are Going Up

Increase goes into effect at the end of June 30

As June ends, so do the days of 75-cent tolls on bridges over the Delaware River.

As of 11:10 p.m. Thursday, tolls for cars traveling over the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission's seven toll bridges -- including the ones along Interstate 78 and Route 22 -- will increase to one dollar.

Tolls will rise for trucks as well, under the DRJTBC's new rate structure. The tolls apply to motorists coming from New Jersey into Pennsylvania.
