After a few delays, the Easton Area School Board will hear a presentation tonight on the future of the school district's old administration building.
Architect Steve Glickman will give a report to the board's buildings and grounds committee about possible uses for the building on the 800 block of Northampton Street.
Glickman's report can be found on the district website if you want a preview of tonight's meeting.
Plans show several possible uses, including office/commercial space, classrooms, and apartments. Tell us what you think the district should do.
Note: tonight's board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at Cheston Elementary on Coal Street on the South Side.

Refurbish it and lease it to the Northampton County Agency on Aging for use as a unified Easton Area Senior Center, consolidating the two excessively expensive commercial spaces now rented in the Circle and on the South Side.

Donald,
That sounds like a good idea too, but EASD would still own the problem. Sell it to them and get this weight off the backs of the tax payers.
