Not exactly a Trevi Fountain which nets a few thousand dollars each day. What did our two-bit thief filch? 98 cents, a couple of Crayola tokens, a used washer. Not enough to even get a a cup of coffee. Perhaps the penny thief should read up on Willy Sutton. He robbed banks because that's where the money is. Not to say that there is any money left in US banks. But, a target of a fountain littered with copper coin is a choice lacking any ROI for the effort.. If anything, our thief should be busted for interfering with the wishes of all the coin tossers. Reminds me of Sammy Cahn's lyrics: "Three Coins in the Fountain, Through the ripples how they shine, Just one wish will be granted, One heart will wear a valentine." (Best sung by Sinatra) Wish Interference: An automatic First Down and Fifteen Yards.

Omg really change from a fountain. That's ridiculous if people are dumb enough to waste change by throwing it in a fountain then someone else should take it. Who else would take it oh yeah the state!!

Yes, some people are just that desperate. Have you taken a look around lately? Extremely high unemployment, homelessness at an all time high
and food banks unable to meet the needs of the public. YES IT IS THAT BAD !!!

The man explained to the police, "The next time you see sky, it'll be over another town. The next time you take a test, it'll be in some other school. Our parents, they want the bestest stuff for us. But right now they gotta do what's right for them, 'cause it's their time. Their time, up there. Down here it's our time. It's our time down here. That's all over the second we ride up Troy's bucket."
