Philadelphia Funk Authority Coming to Easton
Eleven-piece funk band to play Friday at Riverside Park.
The Philadelphia Funk Authority will perform a free concert Friday evening at Riverside Park in Easton.
The authority -- an 11-piece band that regularly performs in Bethlehem -- is scheduled to take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
"Specializing in getting the crowd out on the dance floor with the best soul, R&B, funk, dance and party music from the past 40 years, PFA is a group of dedicated, experienced and professional musicians ready to provide you with the perfect entertainment for your event," the group writes on its website.
Porter's Pub will have a tent set up at the park, serving beer, wine and pub fare. Parking is available at the Governor Wolf Building lot.
