Man Stole $7K in Jewelry, Easton Police Say
A New Jersey man is charged with stealing more than $7,000 worth of rings from A&J Coins in Easton.
A New Jersey man is accused of stealing more than $7,000 gold and platinum diamond rings from a store on Centre Square, according to court papers.
Travese Dale Deremer, 30, of Glen Gardner, N.J., allegedly entered A&J Coins at 60 Centre Square at took several pieces of jewelry from a glass display case on June 14 at about 1:15 p.m., according to an arrest warrant.
Store owner Jerry Dubin reported the crime, saying the stolen rings are worth $7,290. He identified Deremer as the alleged thief from photos provided by .

Deremer was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of felony retail theft before night duty District Judge Nancy Matos-Gonzalez, Bethlehem, and committed to in lieu of $40,000 bail.
