Lafayette Will Name New President Wednesday
Easton college due to announce replacement for President Daniel Weiss.
Lafayette College will announce its new president Wednesday morning, the school said in a news release Tuesday.
The college's 17th president is "a native of the Philadelphia area and a graduate of its schools," the release said.
The annoucement will come at 9 a.m. on the school's website. The new president will be introduced to the campus at 4 p.m.
Current president Daniel Weiss, who has been at Lafayette since 2005, is due to step down later this year to become president of Haverford College.
