Frozen Yogurt Shop Coming to Easton
"Frozenlandia" wants to move into former Bixler's space in Centre Square.
A Coopersburg woman wants to bring frozen yogurt to Centre Square.
Frozenlandia could open in April, Martha Oviedo told the Easton Zoning Hearing Board Monday night. The board granted her permission to install signs in the front and rear of the building, at 22-24 Centre Square.
She and her husband plan to open the shop -- which will also serve coffee and contain a playground for kids -- inside the former Bixler's jewelry store, which closed in 2009.
Ovideo said she hopes the signs can attract tourists coming to and from the nearby Crayola Experience.

Nice to see a new business go in a vacant storefront, but not sure if I can get used to a frozen yogurt shop in the old Bixlers. It just doesn't fit. Plus, I will always be loyal to Purple Cow.

I live in the neighborhood, and we are so excited about Frozenlandia...we can't wait. The idea of having coffee, frozen yogurt, and entertainment for our little ones in just one single place. It is just great!!! We hope you open soon and good luck!!
