Easton police say a woman was hurt after being hit by a car Monday afternoon at a Downtown intersection.

According to police, the 48-year-old woman was hit just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of North Second and Spring Garden Streets.

She was taken to a nearby hospital, and was being treated for her injuries. It was unclear how severe the injuries were.

Police say the accident is under investigation by the department's Accident Investigation Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call Office Daniel Bonham at 610-250-6639.
