Easton Main Street Celebrates Bike Rack Art

The Easton Main Street Initiative and Genesis Bicycles will showcase the city's latest artist-designed bike racks Thursday.

The Easton Main Street Initiative and Genesis Bicycles will team up this week to show off some of the city's bike rack art.

A ride around the city will allow riders to view the latest of artist-designed bike racks installed around the city since 2009.

The ride begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Genesis, where the riders will be the first to see "The Chime Tree," a new bike rack designed by Easton's Paul Deery and installed across from Riverside Park.

The eight mile ride, which ends at the Purple Cow Creamery, is open to riders of all skill levels above training wheels.
