For the second year in a row, the Easton-Phillipsburg Halloween parade has been rescheduled thanks to a storm.
Meanwhile, Mayor Sal Panto said Easton was headed into "full storm mode," with the city preparing to evacuate the municipal garage on Bushkill Street on Monday due to fears that the Bushkill Creek would flood.
"We are preparing the city and residents are again reminded to prepare themselves and their homes," Panto wrote on his Facebook page. "Be prepared for the worse and hope for the best."
The mayor asked residents to check on elderly residents, to make sure they're able to charge their cell-phones in their cars, and to avoid using candles if they can.
Last year, the parade was rescheduled due to the Halloween blizzard.

This was unfortunate but it had to be done for public safety. www.firebrandcentral.com
