Easton Gunfire Case Leads to Drug Charges
An Easton man whose home was the scene of a gunfire investigation is facing drug charges.
An Easton man was jailed on drug charges Sunday after police allegedly found marijuana and packaing materials in his home during a gunfire investigation last week.
Quadree Dixon, 22, of 337 W. Berwick St., is charged with possession with drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, according to court records.
Police say a search of Dixon's home found marijuana, a scale and packaging material. Officers had been on his block after a 911 call about gunshots early on Sept. 3.
Dixon was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $40,000 bail.
The person who fired the shots is still at large. Police are still looking for a man who had been seen in the area before the shooting. He's black, 6-foot-1, thin, and was wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt.
