Easton Fountain Goes Pink For Cancer Awareness
Waters in Easton's Centre Square will stay pink this week for breast cancer awareness.
The waters in Easton's Centre Square fountain have turned pink this week in recogntion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
"This is a small but visible honor to the women and men lost to breast cancer each year," Mayor Sal Panto said in a news release. "It is a reminder that all individuals, especially women, should get regular examinations because early detection can save lives."
The pink dye in the fountain will last about a week, the mayor said.

Not a bad idea, but did my tax money pay for that dye? Why wasn't my dad's prostate included in this? Or will it be dyed for later? With donations, not taxes.
