Easton Dad Will Plead Guilty to Biting Baby

Anthony Heath of Easton was charged last month with biting his one-year-old son.

An Easton man will plead guilty to , his attorney said Monday.

Anthony Heath will try to enter a guilty plea next week when Northampton County's  holds arraignments, according to defense attorney

Heath waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday afternoon before in Wilson.

In exchange for a plea to simple assault, prosecutors will withdraw child endangerment charges against Heath. Minotti said Heath wants to enter some sort of transititional living program upon his release from prison.

Heath, 22, of 1054 Washington St., Apt. 1W, was charged last month after a woman discovered bite marks on her son's back and chest. The woman told police Heath, the boy's father, had been caring for him the previous day.

According to police, Heath admitted to investigators to biting the infant.
