They call themselves the Buffalo Soldiers.

Their full name is the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Clubs, and their mission is to remember the contributions of black soldiers in post Civil War America.

On Saturday, members of the group's Pocono chapter will be in Easton, as part of Greater Shiloh Church's motorcycle blessing ceremony.

"Just like any other season, the motorcycle riding season is important as well," organizer and church member DeWayne Coney said in a news release. "This blessing is for the riders because we want them to be safe and careful. That's what a bike blessing is all about." 

The blessing ceremony will last from 11 a.m. to noon, and will be performed by Senior Pastor Phillip Davis.
