Coroner: Lafayette Student Died From Ethanol
Freshman Everett Glenn was found unresponsive in his dorm in May.
A Lafayette College freshman found unconscious in his dorm earlier this year died from acute ethanol intoxication, the Northampton County coroner has ruled.
Coroner Zach Lysek said Everett Glenn's death was accidental, according to an Associated Press report.
Glenn, 19, was found unresponsive in his dorm at the Kirby House residence hall in early May. At the time, his mother said Glenn died from drinking.
That same weekend, police made 32 alcohol-related arrests at parties near campus. His death prompted the college to review its alcohol policies.

Alcohol is serious and every high school & college freshman should have to look at pictures of all the many students who have died over the years due to the misuse of alcohol. I suppose the same could be said for teens and speeding. I pray for the family, that they can educate others on Everett's memory and save some lives.
